Insiders introduces the Community Card: a smart solution for DMOs, entrepreneurs and municipalities to offer leisure offers flexibly to different target groups. Due to the recent problems with loyalty cards for municipalities, the launch of the Community Card has been brought forward. For DMOs we work with, this may be a suitable alternative. What is the Community Card?
Within ‘closed communities’, the Community Card offers privileges to your target group. Think of groups such as local residents, volunteers or, for example, guests of a (hotel) chain. Supporting local businesses, extending stays and offering extra benefits are all possible. Business owners can also easily benefit from the Community Card. They can easily adjust their discounts by season, enabling them to attract visitors even during quieter periods, or to reach groups they would not normally reach. In this way, the Community Card offers a great opportunity to significantly boost local business. The Community Card also offers interesting applications for local authorities, charities and other organisations. The card can be used as a gift for volunteers and informal carers in the region.
How does it work?
The pass and the accompanying platform are designed in the recognisable house style of a city or region. Moreover, the pass is given its own name. The Community Card is therefore always an entirely individual system that cities, regions and municipalities can offer to their residents.
The pass is linked to an app and website, which are also developed in our own house style. Through the app and website, residents can purchase tickets directly for inexpensive activities of their choice. As an organisation, you have insight into users, deals purchased and statistics.
With the Community Card, residents of a town or region enjoy attractive discounts on local leisure activities.
The island pass of Goeree-Overflakkee
In collaboration with Eilandmarketing Goeree-Overflakkee, Insiders developed the Eilandpas: a community card for residents of Goeree-Overflakkee. With the pass, residents benefit from attractive discounts on activities on the island. New deals are added to the offer every month. The Eilandpas has been a great success for years: residents rate the platform with no less than a 9. The Eilandpas was also good for a turnover of more than €100,000 in its first year.
