For me, travelling means discovering new places, cultures and flavours.
Travelling opens doors to the world, but Den Bosch has always held a special place in my heart. I love strolling through the pretty little streets past Den Bosch’s hidden gems. Small, hidden streets leading off the market square, such as Snellestraat and Ridderstraat. In these streets, you’ll be surprised by lovely little eateries and shops. Although I’ve seen many countries around the world, for me it certainly doesn’t always have to be far away. There are so many lovely spots to discover close to home too. It’s not just Den Bosch that’s such a lovely place. Many other towns and regions we’re lucky enough to work in are also very popular destinations. Not just during my work, but outside of Insiders too, I love getting out and about and exploring new places.
Anita van Hezik
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. I prefer to start my day with a cappuccino in the garden. I like to recharge my batteries in nature. You’ll often find me along the River Waal and its floodplains for a run or a walk, or in the woods. And when I really want to relax, I’ll spend a day at the sauna or a morning working in my vegetable patch. On sunny days, you’ll often find me on a terrace, chatting and soaking up the sun, amidst the hustle and bustle of the city, in my own garden or in a quiet spot by the water.

No two days are the same, especially in my role as head of Insiders.
My culinary heart beats faster for places like Gusto, the ultimate Italian lunchroom and trattoria in Den Bosch (which you simply must visit if you’re in Den Bosch). But Fret, EetbarDit and NomNom are also favourites. On sunny days, you’ll often find me there on a terrace, enjoying a nice glass of wine in the sun. Café Herman, a restaurant housed in a former water tower with a spacious terrace, and Bolwerk, idyllically situated on the outskirts of the city by the beautiful River Dommel, also deserve a special mention. Just imagine: with your feet in the water, a glass of wine in your hand, soaking up the sun and watching the boats go by. I really do love that! I enjoy lovely spots and love it when everything comes together perfectly.
My role within Insiders:
I have been with the company for over 15 years and have held various roles and responsibilities within Insiders. As the person with overall responsibility, I am involved in all sorts of projects. I come from a truly entrepreneurial family and love to roll up my sleeves and get stuck in. That entrepreneurial spirit, combined with my experience, means I really know how to get things done. Every day, I bring the same passion to my work.
