Travelling gives me a chance to escape from the real world

An enthusiastic traveller and lover of leisure. For me, travelling means the opportunity to escape from the real world for a while and discover new places. In my free time, I prefer to be active and sporty. You can often find me on a rock, wall or mountain, as climbing is my passion. It allows me to push my own limits and is a great mix of agility, strength and problem-solving.

My role at Insiders

When I started my career, working in the tourism sector was not my conscious choice. But it felt familiar and it appealed to me to promote unique places in the Netherlands (and hopefully beyond in the future). I am a jack-of-all-trades and have worked in various roles and functions. In recent years, I have mainly focused on growing the Citynavigator product, which targets the tourism sector. I set the lines and am responsible for all product development, always looking for new techniques to integrate and challenging opportunities.

My personal motivation is my inability to cope badly with losing; I always want to win. This striving for perfection motivates me to get the best out of myself and others and to make our products and services of the highest possible quality.
